Music at Ashland Bible Church has a two-fold purpose. First, it is meant to develop a greater understanding of God and draw people into His holy presence. Ministry is the second purpose as it gives us opportunity to "teach and admonish each other in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in [our] hearts to the Lord." Col. 3:16 (NKJV)

1) What is the worship style at Ashland Bible Church?
We have the great privilege of using the songs from long ago to today to teach us about God and our relationship with Him. Our aim is to ensure that it is true to God's Word and profitable to our walk in Christ.
2) What opportunities are there for musicians?
Instrumental solos and ensembles. There are many opportunities for instrumentalists at Ashland Bible Church. A few of the instruments used are flutes, violin, guitar, and piano.
Vocal solos and ensembles.
3) What styles of music can I expect to hear?
You will hear mostly hymns.
4) What qualifications are needed to be involved in the music ministry?
You must be a born-again believer.
Your utmost desire should be to glorify God and lead others in worship.
A small "audition" may be required to determine your level of musicianship.
